50% documentary film… 50% punk concert, Five Songs for Fillmore Avenue was a site-specific performance that combined cinéma vérité and hardcore punk. This project was a collaboration between Kenneth Collins, Buffalo-based musician John Toohill, projection designer Brian Milbrand, the design company, Eclectric Oil and Light, and Torn Space Theatre, as part of a year-long residency with SUNY Buffalo’s Creative Arts Initiative.
